Nominate Your Star Volunteer for a Catalyst Fund Star Award!

We are hosting the 14th annual Star Volunteer Awards event celebrating volunteerism in the Valley on Sunday, April 28th, 2-4 pm in the auditorium of Hanna Boys Center. Thank you to Community Foundation Sonoma County and CarePartners for sponsoring this event!

The Star Volunteer Awards is a chance for non-profits that serve Sonoma Valley to recognize a volunteer who has made a significant contribution to their organization and the Valley during 2023.  At the awards ceremony each participating non-profit organization will present their Star Volunteer with a trophy provided by Catalyst Fund, as well as certificates from Supervisor Susan Gorin and Representative Mike Thompson.

In order to participate, your organization must be able to say YES to all of the following:

1. Organization is a 501(c)3 OR 501(c)6 registered non-profit

2. Organization is not political or religious

3. The nominated volunteer served Sonoma Valley and/or its residents in 2023. Sonoma Valley is the area between Schellville and Kenwood.

4. Nominated volunteer was not compensated in any way for their service

SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE ON FRIDAY, MARCH 15TH.

Once you receive a confirmation email, please notify your Star Volunteer that they are being honored so they can save the date.

The event is free and ticket “sales” will open in March. A link to register will be added to this page at that time.
