Karina Garcia is a proud daughter of immigrants, community advocate, and storyteller whose life journey reflects the strength, resilience, and cultural richness of migrant families.

Born in, Mexico, Karina grew up navigating the challenges of family separation, immigration, and adapting to a new country. Reunited with her parents in Sonoma County, California, she worked alongside her family in the grape vineyards, experiencing firsthand the struggles and sacrifices of agricultural workers. Despite economic hardships and systemic barriers, Karina's parents instilled in her the values of respect, humility, perseverance, and above all-the pursuit of education.

Karina became the first in her family to attend and graduate from college and university, earning a degree in Business Administration and Marketing with a minor in Psychology. Her passion for community empowerment led her to join advocacy groups such as MEChA, amplifying the voice of the Latino community.

Karina's vibrant spirit and natural charisma opened doors in the world of television. She became a beloved media figure with Azteca America San Francisco, representing her culture on countless stages and interviewing artists, community leaders, and changemakers, always using her platform to uplift and connect people.

A dedicated traveler, Karina has explored the world-from the Amazon to Paris-collecting stories, learning about cultures, and sharing those experiences with her family, especially her nieces and nephews, as part of her mission to inspire the next generation.

Today, Karina continues her community work through initiatives like Charla Comunitaria, local interpretation and translation services, and active outreach that ensures Spanish-speaking families stay informed and empowered. She is a living example that with love, resilience, education, and a strong connection to one's roots, dreams can not only be reached but surpassed.
